From early childhood the Salzburg based artist, born in 1972, has been fascinated by colour, form and shape. This inspired Christian Buchegger to devote himself intensively to painting and pictorial art next to his professional decorating business.

In 2013 an exclusive selection of his work was published in “International Contemporary Artists Vol. VII”.

His creative activity is committed to the study of structure, depth and dynamics. His style – experimental, expressive, and energetic. Regarding the use of different materials, colours and pigments, the artist follows the principle „Back to the Roots“. His range of materials and colours embraces building material, or coffee, as well as natural items. The preferred use in colouring is pigments in combination with earth, sand or pit lime.
