Pashmin Art Gallery in Hamburg is presenting the energetic and colorful works of internationally acclaimed artist Kendra Troschel in the June exhibition. The vernissage will be accompanied by Hamburg jazz musician Boriana Dimitrova, who will round out the art event with her exciting compositions.
Kendra Troschel is a fourth-generation artist who crafts dreamlike scenes that blur the lines between abstraction and realism. Troschel’s paintings have been featured in various exhibitions and publications, including the Hong Art Museum in China, Aesthetica Art Magazine, CANS Art Magazine (in Chinese), and the Holy Art Gallery in London.
Kendra Troschel’s art celebrates movement, freedom, and connection to nature. Through her paintings, she challenges traditional societal norms and expectations regarding the female body and sexuality, inviting viewers to appreciate the beauty of the human form in its natural context. Troschel’s masterful use of color and symbolism adds depth and emotion to her works, creating a sense of grounding and connection. Her thoughtful artwork invites viewers to enjoy the present moment, to appreciate the beauty of the natural world, and to embrace the liberation that comes with self-development.
Hamburg saxophonist Boriana Dimitrova completes the exhibition opening with her powerful and virtuosic musical performance. In 1998, she distinguished herself as the first woman to graduate as a saxophonist in Bulgaria. Over twenty years ago, she moved to Germany to complete her studies in “Composition and Arrangement” at the State University of Music and Performing Arts in Mannheim. The “Boriana Dimitrova Quartet” has secured a renowned place in the young German jazz scene.
