Interview with Katrín Snæhólm Baldursdóttir (Icelandic artist) | Pashmin Art Gallery Hamburg | October 2020

Katrín Snæhólm Baldursdóttir is an Icelandic artist. She studied visual arts and sculpture at Emerson College, England and then her MA in contemporary arts in Oxford Brookes University specialised in Social sculpture. Katrín paints because she has the urge to tell stories through forms and colours and to invite people to her spirit world. She listens carefully to different storytellers from other dimensions and different worlds and stays true to their beings and gives birth to them and their stories in her paintings. Her colorful world is fascinating. Women are recurrent characters in her art. “We are amazing creative creatures who just can’t thrive without art. We are all artists.”
