Pashmin Art Gallery is proud to announce the opening of “Feminine Empowerment: Texture, Identity, and Transformation”, a thought-provoking exhibition celebrating the power and resilience of the feminine spirit through the work of three exceptional contemporary artists. The exhibition will open on March 7th, 2026, at 7:00 PM with a special Vernissage, and will run until March 27th, 2026.

Curated by Dr. Davood Khazaie, international curator and art critic, the exhibition showcases the works of Melanie V. Temme, Janih Ch. Lüthi, and Carla Broeckx (aka Artica)—three women whose art embodies the dynamic interplay of texture, identity, and transformation. This exhibition explores the evolution of feminine power as expressed through a variety of mediums, from abstract painting to photography and mixed-media art. Each artist brings a unique perspective, blending abstraction with representation to create a rich dialogue on the multifaceted nature of womanhood, identity, and emotional strength.

Melanie V. Temme opens the exhibition with her abstract works, where she uses texture as a vehicle for expressing the internal power of feminine energy. Her dynamic Jalousietechnik, a technique incorporating neon mediums and acrylics, invites viewers to experience the tactile nature of emotion, blending form and texture in an evocative and intimate way.

Janih Ch. Lüthi shifts the narrative with her photography, focusing on identity through emotionally charged portraits. Her work captures the essence of the human spirit, highlighting the feminine strength inherent in each subject. Through her lens, Lüthi brings forth a raw and powerful depiction of identity, capturing moments that transcend the surface and delve into the soul.

Rounding out the exhibition, Carla Broeckx (aka Artica) presents her mixed-media paintings, which explore the transformation of form and identity. Broeckx masterfully blends abstract and figurative elements, inviting viewers to engage with the evolving nature of womanhood as it intersects with emotional and physical metamorphosis.

On the opening night, the exhibition will be accompanied by an art lecture from Dr. Davood Khazaie, an international curator and art critic, who will explore the themes of feminine empowerment, artistic transformation, and the role of women in contemporary art. Dr. Khazaie’s insights will provide a deeper understanding of the works on display, offering a comprehensive perspective on how art and gender intersect in powerful, transformative ways.

This is an exhibition not to be missed, as it invites reflection on the journey of empowerment, transformation, and the resilience of the feminine in contemporary art.

Join us on March 7th at 7:00 PM for the Vernissage at Pashmin Art Gallery, Hamburg, to experience these transformative works and celebrate the strength and beauty of the feminine spirit.
