The exhibition “FPC II – Feminine Power on Canvas” with works by Sun Rastas, Nicole Majer, Karin Engelbrecht and Andrea Kraus was ceremoniously opened on 4 March 2023. In the rooms of the Pashmin Art Galerie Hamburg, the artist Andrea Kraus conjured up a small studio island where she invited visitors to take part in live painting. After intensive contemplation of her counterpart, the artist created intimate soul paintings that are quite far from the external image. Sun Rastas, the Hamburg artist with Finnish roots, enthralled the audience with her abstract and emotional works that carry “love and the pursuit of self-realisation” as their core message. The third Feminine Power artist, Karin Engelbrecht, presented the viewers with abstract and at the same time figurative art world reminiscent of the impressionist painter Claude Monet and of unique and contemporary quality. Nicole Majer creates a sense of depth and complexity in her works that caused an emotional stirring in the gallery visitor. The lyrical and soulful texts by Stella Tsianios rounded off the exhibition opening.
