The Pashmin Art Gallery is delighted to announce the group exhibition “Adventures in Wonderland II,” showcasing the extraordinary artworks of Katalyn Nemethy, Donat Kamber, BLONDEMONKEY, and Leo Silvius. This fascinating exhibition will be on display from June 10, 2023, to July 15, 2023, at the gallery spaces in Bad Tölz.

“Adventures in Wonderland II” is a remarkable gathering of four exceptional artists, each presenting their own artistic journey and creative expression.

The renowned international curator, Dr. Davood Khazaie, delivered an opening speech at the vernissage, setting the stage for an unforgettable evening of artistic exploration. The event was expertly moderated by Christine Adler, a respected actress and lecturer, adding depth and insights to the exhibition.

Katalyn Nemethy, known for her harmonious compositions and vivid use of color, invites the viewer into a world where feminine sensuality blends with surrealism. Her breathtaking artworks, painted on specially prepared ship wood, capture emotions and stories that resonate with the viewer on a profound level.

Donat Kamber, a Swiss photographer, presents his captivating photographs vividly illustrating his unique perspective on life in China. Through 144 large-format tableaus, Kamber’s lens captures the essence of a China that is lost and forgotten today. The collection serves as a visual time capsule, preserving memories and emotions that bear witness to the enduring beauty and fragility of our shared human experience. Each artwork offers a glimpse into the daily lives of ordinary people, the magnificent landscapes, and the elusive spirit that once permeated the country.

BLONDEMONKEY fearlessly combines Pop Art and Op Art, resulting in visually impressive compositions that challenge conventional boundaries. Through vibrant colors, bold contrasts, and thought-provoking symbolism, his artworks evoke profound emotional reactions and invite contemplation.

Leo Silvius, a master of ceramics and music, integrates sound and light into his artworks, creating immersive environments that engage the senses and transport the viewer to new worlds. His fusion of different artistic mediums evokes strong emotions and encourages viewers to actively participate.
