On systems, bodies, and imagined worlds

Mark Müller | Horst Wagner | Ambro Louwe

Duration: January 24 to February 13, 2026 | Vernissage: January 24, 2026, 7:00 p.m.

Pashmin Art Gallery presents Structure · Exposure · Escape, a curated group exhibition bringing together works by Mark Müller, Horst Wagner, and Ambro Louwe. The exhibition examines how systems of order shape human existence, how the body is exposed within these systems, and how alternative worlds are constructed through imagination.

Each artist occupies a distinct position within this conceptual framework. Mark Müller’s modular, geometric works establish systems of order, repetition, and control. Horst Wagner confronts the viewer with the human body caught within these structures—exposed, observed, and psychologically strained. Ambro Louwe opens a different horizon, constructing immersive pictorial worlds that suggest escape, reconstruction, and the possibility of reimagined realities.

Rather than seeking harmony, the exhibition is built on tension. The works do not resolve one another; they challenge and destabilize fixed readings of structure, power, and freedom. Structure · Exposure · Escape proposes art not as decoration, but as a critical instrument for examining how reality is organized—and how it might be reconfigured.

The exhibition opens with a vernissage on 24 January 2026 at 7:00 PM, including an art lecture by Dr. Davood Khazaie, who will address the curatorial and philosophical dimensions of the exhibition. Curated by Nour Nouri, Director of Pashmin Art, the exhibition continues the gallery’s programmatic focus on contemporary art at the intersection of form, concept, and critical inquiry.
