Everything is new in May! The month of spring stands for new beginnings. With this blossoming power, we have chosen an expressive artist to join us for a powerful start to May!

As a painter, Alexander Dik is first a craftsman with a variety of techniques. He brushes, he spatulas, he throws the colours onto the ground using the dripping method. His power of articulation is reflected in the colours of his artworks, when the red dominates from the background, or the yellow creates the calm, where in front of it the blue melts or the black is deep like the night. Through his paintings he manages to portray the emotions of events that are hidden behind the backdrop of reality. His colours speak to us; they show us that we are only truly human as emotional beings.

In his abstract expressionism, Alexander Dik subordinates form entirely to content. His entire palette of colours can be seen on his canvases.
His artworks will be on display in two major exhibitions in 2022: One at the Beijing Art Fair and the other at the group exhibition at the Art Archive Museum (Beijing) organised by Pashmin Art Consortia.
