Kaan Ege Önal Interview, KÜNSTLERISCHE ODYSSEE, April 2023

Pashmin Art Gallery in Hamburg is very excited to announce a group exhibition with four diverse and dynamic artists: Ali Kasap, Kaan Ege Önal, Leo Silvius and Wolfgang Sobol. The exhibition will run from 8 April to 28 April 2023 at the Pashmin Art Gallery in Hamburg.

The talented abstract artist Ali Kasap will present his vibrant and symbolic works. His use of colour and form takes the viewer on a journey of self-discovery and introspection. Last year, Kasap’s works were part of a museum project in Chongqing, the world’s largest metropolis.

The masterful, realistically painted depictions of Kaan Ege Önal have a theatrical and powerful effect. The figurative painter shows the human body in very special forms that make us think about the current issues in our society. Thanks to his intensive involvement with performance art, he presents us with a special language of the body.

Leo Silvius, a ceramic artist, will show his innovative and creative use of light and music in his artworks. His unique sculptures and installations create a mystical and otherworldly atmosphere that draws attention to the forms and their surroundings.

The tree is the main motive of Wolfgang Sobol, who will present his majestic tree trunk paintings that capture the structural features of nature. His work offers a fresh perspective on landscape painting that is both thought-provoking and visually stunning.

The exhibition will showcase a wide range of styles and media, celebrating the richness and depth of contemporary art. The artists invite the public to join them in exploring their individual art worlds. All four artists will attend the vernissage in person and look forward to interesting and stimulating conversations with you!

The April exhibition promises to be a unique art experience, inviting visitors to discover the power and beauty of art in all its forms.
