Bad Tölz – “Adventures in Wonderland II” is the name of the new exhibition at the Tölzer “Pashmin Art Gallery”, inviting visitors on an extraordinary journey around the world with the artists. The approach is clearly evident in the works of Donat Kamber. The Swiss photographer traveled multiple times to the Far East and China over 30 years ago, capturing a world in tableaus – like a time capsule – that is disappearing even faster from modern China than what is often romanticized as the “good old days” here.
