We are thrilled to announce the opening of “PARVIZ TEHRANI’s Lyrical Artistic Expressions,” a solo exhibition by contemporary artist Parviz Tehrani, showcasing an evocative collection of his latest ceramics and paintings.
The exhibition opens on Art-Night, 22 June 2024, at 7:00 PM.
Parviz Tehrani, celebrated for his deep philosophical engagement with themes of existence and resilience, brings together a spectrum of paintings and ceramics. Tehrani’s ceramics, renowned for their exploration of Raku firing techniques, display playful manipulations of form—such as a perfectly symmetrical beetle on an asymmetrical box. His paintings range from poignant depictions of war to exuberant expressions of nature and human emotion, employing colors and forms symbolically to reflect the diverse facets of life.
Curated by Natalja Nouri and moderated by Jasmin Eikmeier, the exhibition promises an immersive experience into Tehrani’s artistry. The evening will commence with an opening lecture by Dr. Davood Khazaie, providing insights into Tehrani’s impactful journey and the dualities of life that inspire his work.
Join us at Pashmin Art Gallery to delve into the complexities of the human experience through Tehrani’s lenses, as he invites viewers to reflect on the vibrant and transient nature of existence.
