The artist Klaus Risse was born in 1985 in Hagen and counts among the Pop Art artists. He has an interesting artistic expression. His works show Southern French landscapes, with great attention to detail. The compositions play an important role and give the pictures a positive aura. The artist wants to convey political, but also social messages in an uncomplicated “caricature-like” artistic language. For this purpose he uses the so-called “Potatoes” in his works. These overall compositions are not only painted comedy and sartire, but are also and above all intended to draw attention to important events in the world and to stimulate reflection. Ris’s studio is located in the Fürst Leopold coal mine in Dorsten.
