Nicole Majer was born in Hamburg in 1989. She finished her school education in 2008 with the Abitur at St. Ansgar Gymnasium. In 2012 she finished her fashion design studies with the B.A. at the Academy for Fashion and Design in Hamburg. She earned her Bachelor’s degree with an award for the best consistent performance in fashion design and received the Fresenius New Talent Award for this.
Already during her studies she did an internship as design assistant at the jewelry label Mawi in London.
She worked together with Hugo Boss and Disney Couture. After her apprenticeship she worked for companies like FLGNTLT and Root Tattoo. She loves such big challenges and grows with the size of her tasks. Currently she is planning a small, exclusive collection under her own label De Fräi.
Nicole Majer has a keen interest in all forms of art, theoretical and practical. Design enables her to express creativity with functionality. Fashion creations and illustrations enrich each other.
