Lionel Machris (1967, Hamburg, Germany) is a sensitive artist known for his empathetic staging. His talent led him to photography. After graduating in artistic photography, he trained as a photographer and studied painting and graphic design. As a photo assistant, he worked in Paris and Milan for international fashion and cosmetic photographers. He worked for Vogue, Elle, and clients like Calvin Klein. Alongside commercial photography, he dedicated himself to fine art photography, particularly using 24-carat gold. Each artwork is unique, printed with specially treated gold. His inspiration comes from life and respect for the unknown. Lionel Machris currently resides in Hamburg and Provence.
